Our IoT devices can translate 4-20mAs sensor values in control loop systems into any unit of measure in the cloud.

To gather information from a remote industrial grade 4-20mAs current loop sensor that is only connected to a local control system can be expensive. Regular visits by field engineers to collect data manually is not ideal and is not environmentally friendly.

Through the use of IoT, data can be collected continuously, in a predetermined unit of measurement and reported back to a centralised Control System. In addition, alarms can be sent should thresholds be breached.

Our IoT solution works by using wireless sensors and a privately connected GSM gateway that can be deployed into the harshest of terrains, thus providing connectivity in disparate locations.

Connect Isolated Sensors Back to Base

  • Expensive remote 4-20mA current loop sensors are being used for measurement and reporting of events to a display
  • In some cases these sensors are only functioning in a local control loop system and not connected back to Control ie local or isolated
  • An IoT 4-20mA sensor taps into the control loop system and reports the value back to the cloud platform
  • This information is then translated to an agreed measurement value
  • Thresholds can be set for for event triggers and alarms to be sent to pre-selected contacts.
